Sven Boer

My name is Sven Böer and I have been working at the Panoramic Hotel in Bad Lauterberg since September 2017. I come from the former GDR and started learning the trade as a cook in 1982. I worked in various restaurants until reunification and then started my hotel career and worked in upscale gastronomy. In 1997, at the age of 31, I accepted a challenge as head chef.

For me, being a chef means trying out new recipes with keen interest and curiosity, having fun creating different dishes and cooking with passion for my guests is my top priority.
2006-2012 I worked in a hotel in Bad Wilsnach and during this time I cooked various dishes for a TV station and immortalized myself in a cookbook. At the same time, I also gained catering experience by being involved in various large Mecklenburg horse shows that took place every year.

I am delighted to be working at the Panoramic Hotel. We are a good team and enjoy mastering all challenges at work.
