Sven Böer

My name is Sven Böer and I have been working at the Panoramic Hotel in Bad Lauterberg since September 2017. I come from the former GDR and started to learn the profession as a cook in 1982. Until the reunification I worked in various restaurants and then started my hotel career and worked in the upscale gastronomy. In 1997 at the age of 31 I accepted challenge as a chef.

For me, the profession as a chef means trying new recipes with a keen interest and curiosity, having fun creating different dishes and cooking with passion for my guests is my top priority.

2006-2012 I worked in a hotel in Bad Wilsnach and during this time I cooked different dishes for a TV station and immortalized myself in a cookbook. At the same time, I also gained catering experience by being involved in several large Mecklenburg horse shows that were held annually.

I am happy to work at the Panoramic Hotel. We are a good team and master all challenges with fun in our job.
