A solid introduction to the world of bartending
During the training course, Mr. Hartanto dealt intensively with the basics of the bartender’s craft. It was not only about the role of the bartender himself, but also about the structure and organization of a professional bar, the application of basic serving techniques and the creative design of simple garnishes. The focus was always on a first-class understanding of service – exactly what we live in our hotel.
Rediscover classics
Another focus of the course was the preparation of classic cocktails. Over 18 well-known drinks were on the syllabus – including mojitos, whisky sours, espresso martinis and many other international classics. The use of fresh ingredients, the perfect balance of flavors and skillful serving play a central role. Mr. Hartanto now brings this knowledge directly to our bar – and into your glasses.
Technology meets craftsmanship
The technical aspects of bartending were not neglected either. Whether shaking, stirring, folding or crushing – the most important preparation techniques were trained intensively. Modern methods such as layering shots or using a mixer were also taught. Safe handling of the classic bar tools and all the equipment is now a matter of course for Mr. Hartanto.
Understanding spirits – not just serving them
The training was rounded off with an in-depth introduction to the world of spirits. Mr. Hartanto dealt intensively with the origin, properties and possible uses of vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey and brandy. Basic knowledge of beer and wine was also imparted – a solid basis for competent advice and inspiring recommendations at our hotel bar.
More enjoyment for our guests
For our hotel, this further training is not only a great personal achievement for our team member, but also a real benefit for the entire bar area. Mr. Hartanto will share his knowledge with the team and thus ensure that the new know-how is directly reflected in our offer. For you as a guest, this means: more creative ideas, more professional expertise – and an even more pleasant stay at the Hotel Panoramic in Bad Lauterberg.
Come by, clink glasses with us – and discover how much passion, expertise and craftsmanship goes into every single glass. We are certain that these new ideas will make your stay at the Hotel Panoramic even more enjoyable.
