My name is Nicole Böttcher and I have been working at the Panoramic Hotel since December 2009 to take care of children at the kid’s club and organise the entertainment programme for the whole family.

My team and I are responsible for fun! We’ll greet the kids with crafting, dancing (kids disco), exploring the Harz mountains surroundings, themed parties and much much more.

At our hotel we also have a creative studio. Here the kids, and the adults, can explore their creative sides: making colourful lanterns, jelly candles, soap, or making salt dough.

Even in the evening hours we have many different options for the whole family in our programme including: Bingo evenings, game nights, witch school, the kids disco, or late-night hikes lit by torches finished with a delicious beverage.

The most amazing feeling for me is when the next day the children want to come right back to us and that our small and big guests both feel happy.

“The good spirit in the background”

I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. In 1990 I started my apprenticeship as a restaurant manageress, which I successfully completed after 3 years. Subsequently, I did further training as a hotel manageress. After my apprenticeships, I worked as a restaurant manager for 15 years before I decided to switch to the hotel business. There I specialized in housekeeping, where I have been working for over 10 years. My duties include staff scheduling, purchasing and storage and control of cleaning supplies, and final inspection of apartment or hotel rooms.

I´ve been working for the apartment and family hotel Panoramic in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz region since October 2017.

Since my early childhood I knew that being a chef would be my calling which I have been following until today. I have made various national and international experiences. My focus lays in light Mediterranean menus but one of my specialties is also fine traditional food. I am looking forward to a new challenge and to a great new team!

Standing in the kitchen daily, surprising and spoiling you with traditional or new creations. This is not just a job to me, this is also my passion.

That is why freshness and quality are the most important priorities for me, entailing bargaining with our suppliers daily. My co-workers are being trained daily with fresh goods and the good cooperation with our service team gets stronger daily.

My aim is to amaze our guests with fresh and creative dishes!

My name is Maria Behnecke and since May 2019 I support the team at the Panoramic Hotel in the area of marketing.

I studied tourism with a focus on the hotel industry and have already worked in several hotels. In April 2019, I moved to Bad Lauterberg with my husband and our son and we immediately fell in love with our new home – the Harz Mountains.

My name is Janine Engelmann and I have been working for the apartment and family hotel Panoramic in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz region since the 01.02.2011. I am responsible for the sales and marketing department and I am also the management assistant for this business.

Every day I start my varied work day happily and I look forward to the challenges that face me on a daily basis at the Harz mountains hotel.

I take care of our website, our house projects, newsletter etc…All of the media so that you can visualise the most wonderful time of your year here with us. My name is Stefanie Höch-Gudehus and I started as an apprentice hotel manageress at the Panoramic Hotel in October 2004. After that I strengthened the reception and reservation team.

In the meantime, I am in charge of reservations and am your contact person for reservation inquiries and bookings. I am also at your disposal for any questions and requests concerning your stay at the Panoramic Hotel.

My name is Monika Resagk and I have been working for the Panoramic Hotel in Bad Lauterberg for over35 years (including my apprenticeship). During this time, I have worked in several departments like reception and reservation. Since 2004 I am the Executive Secretary.

It makes me very content to see the happy faces of our holiday guests, especially the children, and be a part of that happiness. During the years the Panoramic Hotel in the Harz mountains has become my second home.

My name is Matthias Seidel and I am the Managing Director at the apartment family hotel Panoramic in Bad Lauterberg located in the Harz Mountains since 2008. After studying business and administration at the FH Worms I have worked in various hotels in Germany. Now I use my gained experience to turn your most precious hours of the year here at our hotel into an unforgettable memory.

When choosing employees, I place focus on work attitude. Nobody can provide 100% performance without a personal work attitude and motivation. Although, of course being a team player and having self-responsibility are important elements to my job.

My motto has always been: “Your happiness makes us happy”. With that moto in mind, only then can our common goals be reached.

The family apartment hotel Panoramic has many different guests at different times of the year. In the summer months we have many families, not just from Germany but also many guests come from all over to stay as guests in our hotel in the Harz mountains. In autumn we have many hikers, young and old, come to visit and in the winter months we welcome skiers; cross-country as well as alpine skiing are both very popular here in the Harz mountains. More and more pensioners and elderly people, along with their grandchildren, enjoy their Harz mountains holiday with us at our hotel.

Our hotel has space for big groups too as we have over 1200 beds to offer.

With an average of 180.000 guests per year we have a continual increase of guests, which of course extends the sector-wide average in the whole of Germany
